PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
The person credited with this unit standard is able to monitor and control the sanitation and sterilisation methods and measures within their own working environment. Learners will also be able to monitor and control the disposal of waste from their working environment

The qualifying learner is capable of:
  • Monitoring sanitation and sterilisation methods in the work environment
  • Monitoring and controlling sanitation and sterilisation measures in the work environment
  • Monitoring and controlling the disposal of waste from the work environment 

  • LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING 
    Learners assessing this qualification will have demonstrated competence against the National Certificate in Beauty: Manicure and Pedicure or Aesthetic Consultancy or Make-up Consultancy at NQF Level 3 or equivalent.
