PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
The purpose of this unit standard is to enable learners to identify and evaluate DJ equipment, pre plan and set up DJ equipment for a performance. The unit standard includes the social skills necessary to plan pre -recorded music for performance and / or broadcasting.
