PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
The purpose of this unit standard is to enable learners to:
  • Operate DJ equipment for a performance.
  • Arrange and present pre -recorded music for performance and / or broadcasting.

    The unit standard contributes to the competence of those learners who want to pursue a career in Sound Engineering, and contribute to greater levels of competence, and thus productivity and quality in the Music Industry.
