  • Operate a computer and software systems to create, manipulate and automate sound.
  • Recognize, operate and make sound judgements regarding the most effective technologies to use in specific situations.

    The unit standard contributes to the competence of those learners who want to pursue a career in Sound Engineering, and contribute to greater levels of competence, and thus productivity and quality in the Music Industry.
