PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD

Qualifying learners will be able to demonstrate understanding of printing processes and quality requirements for the end use of manufactured paper products.

Learners attempting this unit standard are required to read, understand and interpret operating manuals which are of a technical nature. It is therefore required that they have achieved NQF level 3 or equivalent accreditation.

UNIT STANDARD ACCREDITATION AND MODERATION OPTIONS

Anyone assessing a learner against this unit standard must be registered as an assessor with the relevant ETQA.
Any institution offering learning that will enable achievement of this unit standard must be accredited as a provider through the relevant ETQA by SAQA.
