UNIT STANDARD ACCREDITATION AND MODERATION OPTIONS |
1. Anyone assessing a candidate against this unit standard must be registered as an assessor with the relevant ETQA.
2. Any institution offering learning that will enable achievement of this unit standard must be accredited as a provider through the relevant ETQA by SAQA. 3. Moderation of assessment will be overseen by the relevant ETQA according to the moderation guidelines and the agreed ETQA procedures. |

Terminolgy
Terms have been clarified as far as possible through the use of range statements. Further clarification of terms is provided as follows: Delictual liability relates to the liability for unlawful damages caused to another person and being liable implies compensation as a restorative aim (restoring the unlawful damages caused) to be paid. Vicarious liability relates to the liability caused for e.g. the State by the unlawful actions of its employees due to being responsible for the conduct of its employees under certain circumstances. |
