PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
A learner credited with this unit standard will be able to conduct workshop programmes and advocacy campaigns in more than one particular area of specialization. The learner will independently perform the tasks with clear instructions in a broader development practices programme.
The learner will also be able to understand and contribute to Training for Transformation [TFT] and Participatory Action Research Programmes; local South African development programmes and various capacity building programmes when applied in development practice projects. |

UNIT STANDARD ASSESSOR CRITERIA |
Anyone assessing learners against this unit standard could be employed as a development practitioner in the same provider institution with at least a level 5 Qualification and work with a registered assessor in development practice with the relevant ETQA.
Registered Assessors must have a level 5 qualification in development practice and prior or concurrent experience as a development practitioner. |
