Integrated Assessment:
Assessment practices must be transparent, fair, valid, and reliable and ensure so that no learner is disadvantaged.
Integrated assessments imply that different forms of assessment will be used simultaneously to assess exit level outcomes and learning outcomes of different modules. Theoretical and practical components will also be assessed simultaneously with the use of both formative and summative assessments.
A variety of assessment instruments will be used that are appropriate to the context in which the learner is working. Where it is not possible to assess the learner in the workplace or on-the-job, simulations, case studies and other techniques will be used to provide the appropriate context for the assessment.
Credits will then be given for the evidence of learning already acquired through formal, informal and non-formal learning and work experience. |
