THE LEARNER WILL BE CAPABLE OF:
A sound knowledge and understanding of basic laboratory practice and skills, the management, and administration thereof.
A well-founded knowledge of human genetics in the fields of clinical genetics, cytogenetics and molecular genetics;
An understanding of genetic principles and inheritance of mankind;
The ability to use scientific research terminology with confidence;
Proficiency in basic laboratory skills;
Interpretation of scientific findings and professional reasoning;
The ability to utilise diagnostic aids, the services of allied health professions, and work as a member of a health team;
