PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION |
The aim of this qualification is to provide an opportunity to students to broaden their knowledge in Anthropology within the Faculty of Arts. This provides an opportunity to read extensively, to become acquainted with some of the classic texts in the Anthropology discipline, to become involved in a conversation with its most important thinkers and to take part in these debates with confidence. The solid basis that is acquired in this way prepares the student for Postgraduate research. This provides an opportunity not only to broaden but also to deepen insight in the discipline as specified. |
