PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION 
Purpose:

To demonstrate an ability to do research independently and to contribute to the body of knowledge on Labour Relations.

Rationale:

Demonstrate advanced skills and in depth knowledge of Labour Relations Management and apply international and local best practices in the field of Labour Relations Management in addition to demonstrating the ability to undertake a research project, in the broad field of Labour Relations Management, which contributes to the existing body of knowledge and addresses a particular Labour Relations problem. 

LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING 
NQF Level 7 (e.g. Bachelor of Technology: Labour Relations Management or equivalent).

A completed Bachelor of Technology: Labour Relations or equivalent qualification. An average of 65% is required.
