PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION

This qualification aims to equip participants with in-depth studies of the Setswana language. In so doing it will expose beneficiaries to the modern and contemporary theories applicable to the present day changing life styles. Focus will however be aspects: literary approaches, research methodologies, language studies, prose fiction, drama and poetry. At the end of the programme the graduates will be well grounded in theories and techniques of writing, evaluating and researching objectively and professionally in the fields stated above.
