| The functional areas of Law Enforcement, Education and Engineering, as well as areas of Criminology and Public Management, as presented by Technikons, Universities and Lyceum College already provide for articulation possibilities, where the outcomes are relevant. |

| Currently SERTEC. The Institute for Traffic and Municipal Officers will also have a certification function. |

| Technikons currently apply Sertec regulations, but criteria required by the Institute for Traffic and Municipal Officers and the Department of Transport, would be added (where applicable). |
