| PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION |
| The purpose of this qualification is to supply the outdoor management development industry and outdoor teambuilding industry with competent development trainers and facilitators. The qualified learner will be competent to plan, design, implement and manage outdoor management development training programmes for corporate groups and to conduct basic research in this field for clients. |

| First degree in Outdoor Recreation or other relevant qualification equivalent to 360 credits at NQF level 6
Recognition of prior learning: RPL according to set criteria plus relevant workplace experience equivalent to a minimum of 5 years in the outdoor recreation industry. |
