| PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION |
| 1. The first purpose of the qualification is to provide the qualifier with post graduate level knowledge, specific skills and applied competence in the art of teaching to enable them to efficiently facilitate learning as well as critical and creative thinking in pupils.
2. The second purpose of the qualification is to add value to the qualifier through the enrichment of the person, the enhancement of his/her employability and the opening-up of access routes to additional education and training. |
