PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION 
The purpose of this qualification is to supply leaners who will make a significant and original contribution to knowledge in a specialised area of internal auditing. They will have a level of overall knowledge in that specialised area ranging from fundamental concepts to advance theoretical or applied knowledge.

Emphasis is placed on developing a conceptual approach, specialised knowledge and set of skills and attitudes for a productive role in research.

The minimum entry requirement for this qualification is:
  • Masters of Commerce in Internal Auditing, NQF Level 9.
