| Integrated assessment
1) An oral examination, by a panel of experts in the field of the study, to assess the proficiency of the qualifier in the selected field, in the determination of whether or not the thesis may be submitted for examination; and 2) An examination of the thesis by the promoters and two external assessors all of whom must be experts in the selected field of study. |

| Experts, both national and international, in the selected field of study from institutions outside of the University will be used in the assessment of the qualification. |
