2) To provide qualifiers with an integrated and effective mix of legal skills that builds on prior graduate - level knowledge, specific skills and applied competence in a number of fields of law that provide opportunities for continued personal intellectual growth, gainful economic activity and rewarding contributions to society.

The graduate shall present a dissertation on an approved topic and shall take any further prescribed examinations, written or oral. 

ARTICULATION OPTIONS 
Completion of the qualification allows vertical articulation with the Doctor of Legum (LL.D) degree. 

MODERATION OPTIONS 
Specialists in the field, both from the University and externally, will be involved in the moderation and assessment of the degree. 

CRITERIA FOR THE REGISTRATION OF ASSESSORS 
The university`s academic staff will be used as assessors in a manner which fits into the quality management system of the institution and this will also apply to the appointment of persons outside the university.
