| PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION |
| This qualification has been established to provide training and evaluation for medical Doctors specialising in the field of haematological pathology. The qualification is recognised by the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as fulfilling the requirement for registration as a specialist haematopathologist. |
