| PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION |
| The Master's qualification in Dietetics is a course-work based qualification. Qualified learners will have comprehensive, in-depth knowledge, specialised technical skills (preventive, promotive, developmental and curative) in the field of dietetics. Qualified learners will also have well-developed skills to initiate research and be able to write a research protocol in the field of dietetics. The qualification aims for a candidate to demonstrate grantmanship and to do research under supervision. An attitude of lifelong learning will be fostered, ensuring continuing self-development and development of the field. |
