| PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION |
| This qualification provides learners with a broad understanding, in content, application and epistemology, of the major functional areas of business as well as a breadth of perspective, enabling them to contribute effectively to the wider corporate activities and decision making processes of any organisation (public or private) Learners will also be in a position to conduct further studies at Masters level in South Africa, the United Kingdom or the British Commonwealth Countries. |

| A recognised Honours Degree in a relevant discipline;
Or Recognition of prior learning: A recognised Bachelor's Degree with managerial experience and relevant prior learning deemed to be of equivalent standing to an Honours Degree; Or A suitable postgraduate diploma with managerial experience and relevant prior learning deemed to be of equivalent standing to an Honours Degree; Or Professional qualification(s) with managerial experience and relevant prior learning deemed to be of equivalent standing to an Honours Degree; Or Managerial experience and relevant prior learning deemed to be of equivalent standing to an Honours Degree; And A minimum of 4 years managerial experience at middle to senior levels; And The ability to study at a Postgraduate level. |
