  • Bachelor Honours in African Languages and equivalent degree in related fields.

    ASSOCIATED ASSESSMENT CRITERIA 
    Integrated assessment

    Assignments, presentations, workshops, seminars, research and examination. 

    ARTICULATION OPTIONS 
    This qualification allows for both horizontal and vertical articulation possibilities:

    Horizontal Articulation:
  • Master of Arts, NQF Level 9.

    Vertical Articulation:
  • Doctor of Philosophy in African languages, NQF Level 10.

    Completion of the Degree programme will enable one to contest for PhD programme at any institution and can contest anywhere on language practitioner's position. 

  • MODERATION OPTIONS 
    Ph D 

    CRITERIA FOR THE REGISTRATION OF ASSESSORS 
    A minimum of Ph D degree and 3 years experience
    External: A minimum of Ph D and 4 years experience
