PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION

This qualification will produce much needed professionals specialising in the fields of hydrology and water resources management.

An Honours degree in the field or associated field or relevant experience equivalent to an honours degree in hydrology.

The external examiner should be attached to a higher education institution, to a research institute or to an institution that specialises in aspects of the hydrological sciences. In all cases, moderators will be suitably qualified in the relevant field of study.

CRITERIA FOR THE REGISTRATION OF ASSESSORS

Assessors will have at least a PhD or Doctorate in the field or in a related field.
