The HLMP student will have acquired: 1. a high level of technical and performance skills in each relevant field; 2. the ability to analyse, express and justify an individual interpretation of the chose works to be performed; 3. the ability to work with others as a member of an instrumental ensemble or theatre production and to be a responsible participant in the performance; 4. a knowledge of relevant repertoire for the chosen instrument or voice. Specific Outcomes: The HLMP student will have: 1. advanced technical and solo skills with regard to the chosen instrument or voice, demonstrating a high level of professionalism; 2. specialised knowledge and skills which include the interpretation and evaluation of different musical editions, historical practice and stylistic approaches. |

Competence and ability in this area are demonstrated if the student is able to show a high degree of proficiency in the specific skills taught and in their application in a practical performance context. Integrated Assessment: Public performances are presented by students to allow assessment of their ability to integrate the practical skills and academic knowledge acquired in all previous modules. |
