    MODERATION OPTIONS 
    A system of second examiners within the institution will be used, together with a system of external examination at exit levels to the qualification. The South African Nursing Council will also be involved in moderation. 

    CRITERIA FOR THE REGISTRATION OF ASSESSORS 
    Qualifications required:

    Masters of Arts in Nursing Science with specialisation in Nursing Administration, Nursing education and Community health.

    A PhD degree in Nursing.

    Career experience required:

    5 years experience in Health Services management/leadership

    Other criteria:

    Staff members will he used as assessors in a manner accommodated within the quality management system of the institution. Outside assessors will also be treated the same way.
