PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION 
The purpose of the qualification is to provide students with a broad theoretical and practical understanding of various areas in science, while preparing them for a career in science, specializing in one approved core discipline.

    Graduates of the programme will be able to:

    1. Demonstrate an understanding of concepts, principles and acquired knowledge in Science and particularly in the core discipline(s).

    3. Use process skills to investigate phenomena related to Science and demonstrate an understanding of the changing and contested nature of knowledge in Science.
