PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION 
The Human Resources Management programme has been designed to provide for the needs and requirements of Human Resources Managers in order to function effectively in dynamic, demanding and culturally diverse South African workplace. Students get an opportunity to do an indepth study of an area of his/her own interest within the field of Industrial Psychology and to complete a dissertation based on research.

An Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology and any other Degree will be considered on the relevance of the Degree content.

ARTICULATION OPTIONS 
Learners could enroll for various degree/diplomas/certificates to enrich their degrees, e.g. Conflict Management, Cum Labour Relations Management; Organizational development could be practitioners in Personnel, or specialists etc. The field of Human Resources Management Officers a variety of specialization areas

Vertical e.g. Doctorate

Cognate e.g. Master in Conflict Management, Master Certificate in Labour Relations Management, specialise in Organizational Development or could be Personnel Practitioner. 

MODERATION OPTIONS 
NQF Level 7 examination papers and answers/research mini thesis are subjected external supervisors/examiners. The minimum of two external examiner and one internal examiner. 

CRITERIA FOR THE REGISTRATION OF ASSESSORS 
Preferably a Doctorate in Industrial Psychology with recognised lecturing experience and research publications or Master in Industrial Psychology with recognised lecturing experience and research publications.
