| PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION |
| The Human Resources Management programme has been designed to provide for the needs and requirements of Human Resources Managers in order to function effectively in dynamic, demanding and culturally diverse South African workplace. Students get an opportunity to do an indepth study of an area of his/her own interest within the field of Industrial Psychology and to complete a dissertation based on research. |

Publication of original research in Scientific and professional journals 6. Should be able to supervise research at an Advanced level. Integrated assessment procedures to ensure that the purpose of the qualification is achieved. Course Work. Formative assessment methods e.g. assignments, case studies, group discussions, seminar presentations. Summative assessment: Examinations and mini dissertation. Dissertation: Formative Assessment methods: 1) Learner will be expected to defend their research proposals to a panel of Examiners. 2) To produce a full Dissertation. |

| MODERATION OPTIONS |
| NQF Level 7 examination papers and answers/research mini thesis are subjected external supervisors/examiners. The minimum of two external examiner and one internal examiner. |
