| PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION |
| The first purpose is to enable students who have already obtained a first Baccalaureus degree (with Classical Hebrew II and Greek II) or equivalent tertiary qualification, to enrol for a second bachelor in Theology and ministry (in accordance with a previously held philosophy of professional training).
The second purpose is to provide qualifiers with the necessary knowledge, skills and applied competencies which would enable him/her to function successfully as pastor in the context of his/her denomination. The third purpose is to provide the country with graduates which can contribute to the spiritual health and ethical foundations of the South African society. |
