Learners should have advanced knowledge of theories, methods and skills related to existing research in the discipline of specialisation within Fine Arts. In addition they must have a specialised level of competence in that discipline. These include:

1. Cross-cultural problematisation and integration of aesthetic perceptions on reality in Painting; Sculpture; Printmaking; and dissertation;

2. Community-relevant murals in teams;

3. Continuous learning through creative assessing of multiple realities, art production and visual communication;

4. Art production aimed at community development and environment conservation/expansion;

5. Intersystemic understanding and conscientisation;

6. Using of a variety of learning strategies for purpose of art production;

7. Responsible participation in local, national and global communities;

8. Enhanced culture and aesthetic sensitivity across a range of social contexts; and

9. Professional artist careers; also in formal and non-formal teaching, museum work, art journalism, interior design, etc.
