PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION 
The purpose of this qualification is to develop specialist skills in interpersonal communication and group techniques in the field of rehabilitation.

Graduates will have comprehensive, in-depth knowledge and expanded skills in the use of group activities. An attitude of life long learning will be fostered, ensuring self-development as well as development of the field.

Society will benefit from this qualification leading to higher efficacy of therapeutic groups, contributing to higher levels of mental health for people with disabilities, better evaluations of interpersonal relationships and effective intervention through the application of group activities.
