ASSOCIATED ASSESSMENT CRITERIA |
Integrated assessment
1. The presentation of a mini dissertation will reflect on the student's ability to organise and explain research data. 2. Candidates will undergo continuous assessment in research methodology techniques and anatomical techniques in Health and Natural Science via theoretical, practical, and proficiency testing. 3. Modules requiring a written examination will provide an indication of the acquisition of advanced and integrated anatomical concepts. 4. An oral examination and oral presentation of seminars will test the candidate for knowledge, communication and presentation skills. |

All continuous assessment modules and written modules will be moderated internally by the programme co-ordinator/internal moderator and externally by a suitably qualified or clinically experience academic from a national university |

They are selected from the academic staff of the University of Durban Westville who have demonstrated a suitable level of competence n the relevant field, as approved/appointed by the Senate External assessors: They are academics who must have demonstrated expertise in a relevant field. The appointment of external assessor must be approved by the Faculty Board and Senate. |
