PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION 
To provide learners in possession of a Bachelor of Commerce degree with advanced knowledge and skills about various technical aspects of management sciences in order to promote sustainable growth and development and maximise prosperity in all sectors of the economy and society.

To develop competent leaders in the management sciences with advanced applied fundamental and generic cross-functional technical knowledge and skills to steer sustainable development, growth and prosperity in the most appropriate direction.

To provide students who want to enrol for more specialised studies in these disciplines, with a sound academic and research base from which to do so.

  • Manage advanced and technically specialised aspects of public and development sector organisations effectively and efficiently in their pursuance of the public interest.

    Integrated Assessment:
  • Integrated Assessment takes place by way of a variety of procedures including practically orientated cross-disciplinary individual and group assignments, simulations, workplace assessments, written and oral presentations, tests and examinations.
