PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION 
Purpose:
Graduates of this program are highly skilled and capable of solving challenging physics related problems in the workplace and research.

Rationale:
This programme produces highly skilled physicists who join real work environment and is also a prelude to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) qualifications which forms the bedrock of manpower in academic and research institutions.
