  • Investigative process regarding selected offences is completed according to legal and investigative principles.

  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution models are applied according to requirements.
  • Proactive strategies are planned by using an integrative approach and implementation, monitoring and evaluation are explained to the National Crime Prevention Strategy.
  • Ways of community involvement are explained according to policy.

    The qualification provides for sufficient practical applications of knowledge, skills and attitudes across modules to ensure that the learners' competencies can be assessed through a variety of assessment forms, e.g.

    Assignments, portfolios, projects, research papers, case studies, role plays, self-assessment and fieldwork.

    Summative Assessment:
    Written and/or oral examination.
