1. The status message on the report is checked, as required by the bank, for the reason for unpaid and reject cheques.

2. All cheques are sorted according to the status message as required by the bank.

Process late unpaid cheques.

1. The cheque is collected from the bulk file department according to the bank's procedures.

4. The branch is notified, according to the bank's procedures, of the reason why the cheque was unpaid or rejected.

2. The daily report is completed as required by the bank.

3. Unpaid/reject cheques are submitted to the relevant department for processing according to the bank's procedures. 


UNIT STANDARD ACCREDITATION AND MODERATION OPTIONS 
1. Anyone assessing a learner against this unit standard must be registered as an assessor with the relevant ETQA.

2. Any institution offering learning that will enable achievement of this unit standard or assessing this unit standard must be accredited as a provider with the relevant ETQA.

3. Moderation of assessment will be overseen by the relevant ETQA according to the moderation guidelines in the relevant qualification
and the agreed ETQA procedures.

Therefore anyone wishing to be assessed against this unit standard may apply to be assessed by any assessment agency, assessor or provider institution which is accredited by the relevant ETQA.

    To organise and manage oneself and one's activities responsibly and effectively when the daily report is completed as required by the bank. 

    UNIT STANDARD CCFO COLLECTING 
    To collect, organise and critically evaluate information when all cheques are sorted according to the status message as required by the bank. 

    UNIT STANDARD CCFO COMMUNICATING 
    To communicate effectively using visual, mathematical and language skills in the modes of oral and written presentations when relevant data is captured according to the bank's procedures.

    This unit standard has been replaced by unit standard 114776, which is "Process unpaid, late unpaid and rejected cheques in a banking environment", 4 credits, NQF level 3 as from 11 August 2004.
