PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This unit standard is for learners who are responsible for planning and managing production/operations function of a new venture. Learners acquiring this unit standard will be equipped with knowledge and skills to optimise productivity of a business.

Learners credited with this unit standard will be able to:

  • Apply effective production/operations scheduling.
  • Apply resource management within a new venture.
