  • Compile a therapeutic massage treatment plan.
  • Update programmes in the light of patient's response to treatments.

    Patient information, gathered by appropriate methodology during consultation and assessment procedures, is categorised and recorded.

    Methodology includes:
  • Assessment, observation, identification, interpretation, recording and application skills.
     

  • ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
    Patient information is evaluated to determine the patient's health profile and treatments recommended to alleviate the presented symptoms.

    Feedback is obtained from the patient on each subsequent visit and recorded against that information on record.

    Feedback gathering includes:
  • Critical questioning techniques, active listening, self-evaluation by patient.
     

  • ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
    New information is analysed in terms of the current treatment programme and required modifications are identified.

    Changes in treatment are explained to the patient and consent is obtained to ensure ongoing health improvement for the patient.
