PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
Persons credited with this unit standard will be able to prepare plant for service, control load variations from a centralised control room, monitor load variation conditions, monitor load variation conditions, optimise load variation conditions, control hydraulic process, loading, inventory control and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of hydro power plant operation and control.
