PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This Unit Standard is intended for all those who assist with the implementation of a corporate identity programme in an organisation.

The qualifying learner is capable of:
  • Giving reasons for implementing a corporate identity programme
  • Assisting in implementing a corporate identity programme
  • Explaining the factors that affect corporate image
  • Using corporate identity materials

    Image surveys of a particular organisation are done under supervision.

    Ways in which the staff can help improve corporate image are identified for a particular organisation highlighting good and bad practices.

    An action plan to eliminate practices which have a negative effect on corporate image is drawn up for staff.

    Use corporate identity materials.

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 1 
    A list of all possible corporate identity materials is compiled together with examples of each from a particular organisation. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
    Corporate identity materials that are not made use of by an organisation are listed together with reasons for their absence. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 
    Suggestions are made as to how unused corporate identity materials can be developed for an organisation. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 
    Corporate identity materials are consistently and correctly used at all times.
