UNIT STANDARD RANGE

General guide for scope, context and level The learner is expected to perform the specific outcomes as reflected in this unit standard without direct supervision, but with access to work-site procedures, operating instructions and statutory requirements. Appropriate methods and equipment includes, but is not limited to: seed sampling probe, soil divider, centrifugal divider, hand halving and spoons. Deviations include, but are not limited to: deviations with regard to pests, pathogens, species and types, and prohibited weeds or deviations in labelling and documentation based on visual evaluation. A representative sample is a sample taken according to ISTA or SANSOR sampling guidelines.
