A learner who has achieved this unit standard will be competent in: Maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results are achieved when performing seed tests.

    UNIT STANDARD RANGE 
    The learner is expected to perform the specific outcomes as reflected in this unit standard without direct supervision, but with access to work-site procedures, operating instructions and statutory requirements. Equipment refers to but is not limited to microscope, mass meter, moisture ovens, cold-storage facilities, germination chambers.Components refer to, but are not limited to: magnifying lamps, lights, starter switches.
